Privacy Policy
Effective date: 20 October 2026
Jaari looks after homes while customers are away. That involves information about people, their homes, access arrangements and service activity. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who may receive it and how you can exercise your privacy rights.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Jaaree Residential Property Care Services L.L.C S.O.C, trading as Jaari, is the controller of personal information processed for our enquiries, bookings and Home Care services. We decide the purposes and means of that processing.
We are licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism under commercial licence 1645581, commercial registration 2911071. Our registered address is Office 43–44, Dubai Municipality, Al Fahidi, Bur Dubai, Dubai, UAE.
For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@jaari.ae. Please identify your message as a privacy request. Do not include access codes, payment-card credentials or unnecessary identity documents in an initial message.
2. Information we collect
We collect information relevant to the services you request, including:
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, mobile or WhatsApp number and service communications.
- Property details: community or area, property type, building name where applicable, apartment or villa number, bedroom count and information about unusual complexity.
- Booking information: selected service dates, package, add-ons, quantities, quoted prices, acknowledgements, payments, refunds and booking history.
- Property Profile and access information: agreed access arrangements, relevant permissions, key or card custody records, care instructions, known conditions, restricted areas and photography preferences. Detailed onboarding normally takes place after payment through optional pre-fill and the Home & Access Handover.
- Other relevant contacts: authorised household, emergency, secondary, building or provider contacts and their role, where needed for service delivery.
- Add-on information: plant instructions; vehicle description, registration plate, parking location and authorised checks; shopping instructions; and other information necessary for purchased add-ons.
- Visit records: check-in and check-out times, checks and outcomes, room-level temperature and humidity readings, observations, actions, relevant photographs or video, reports, access-attempt records and service correspondence. Records may identify the home and assigned personnel.
- Payment records: transaction and customer references, payment status, amount, currency, refund information and limited payment-method or billing information made available by the payment provider. Our booking flow does not give Jaari your full card number or card security code.
- Technical information: information needed to serve and protect the website or booking service, which may include IP address, browser or device information, request time, requested page and error or security records. Section 11 explains the scope of cookies and tracking.
We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information unrelated to Home Care. Home photographs may incidentally reveal private household details, so we limit what is captured. Please keep personal documents, financial or medical records, and valuables outside agreed photo views where practical.
3. How we collect information
We obtain information directly from you when you enquire, complete the booking form, pay, provide instructions or communicate with us. We also collect it during Handover and service delivery, from the payment provider, and where appropriate from people you authorise to help with access or service arrangements.
4. Why we use information and the grounds for doing so
We use personal information in accordance with the UAE personal data protection framework. Where an applicable legal exception permits processing without consent, we rely on that exception only to the extent necessary. Otherwise, we seek appropriate consent.
| Purpose | Relevant ground and limits |
|---|---|
| Respond to an enquiry, prepare a quote or arrange a booking you request | Steps requested by you to enter into, amend or end a contract. |
| Process payment, organise Handover, maintain the Property Profile, schedule visits and deliver reports | Performance of our contract with you, limited to information necessary for the agreed service. |
| Coordinate approved providers or communicate with your authorised contacts | Contract performance where applicable; separate consent or another applicable legal exception where information relates to someone who is not a party to that contract. |
| Deal with an urgent situation affecting your interests | Protection of the data subject's interests where the legal conditions are met; contract performance or legal obligations where applicable. An urgent situation does not permit unrestricted use or disclosure. |
| Maintain invoices and records required by law, and respond to lawful authority requests | Compliance with specific UAE legal obligations. |
| Handle complaints, recover or refund payments and establish or defend legal rights | Contract performance and, where necessary, legal-claim or judicial/security-procedure exceptions. |
| Operate and protect the website and service systems | Necessary service delivery and applicable security obligations; consent where a proposed use requires it. |
| Optional uses outside those purposes | Specific consent where required, with a way to withdraw it. We do not treat a booking or acknowledgement of this policy as marketing consent. |
Where information is necessary to provide a requested service, not supplying it may prevent that service; we will explain the consequence. Optional information and consent-based uses are identified as such.
5. Booking tools, payment providers and other recipients
Only people and organisations with a relevant role should receive information needed for that role. Our launch arrangements include:
- Fillout: booking forms and submitted booking information; optional onboarding forms if offered.
- Airtable: customer, property, booking and visit records. The Property Profile belongs to the property and can be reused for repeat bookings.
- Google Workspace: business email and authorised service documents or reports.
- WhatsApp: service communications where used, including arranging Handover and sending updates. See section 9.
- Stripe: payment collection, payment confirmation, refunds and related transaction records. A separate one-time payment link is used for each later Ongoing service month; this does not create automatic billing.
- Netlify, and authorised technical support providers: delivering and protecting the website and resolving technical problems.
- Approved service providers: only the contact, location, access or task information needed for the work you have approved.
- Professional advisers, insurers where relevant, and competent authorities: information necessary for advice, an actual claim, a legal obligation or a lawful request.
Providers processing information on our behalf must operate under appropriate instructions and contractual arrangements. Some providers also act independently for their own purposes. For example, the payment provider may handle information for payment security, fraud prevention or legal compliance, and WhatsApp applies its own terms to its platform. Their privacy notices explain those independent activities.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not give a contractor unrestricted access to your full Property Profile merely because they are attending the property.
6. Payment information
When Stripe payments are available, you enter card credentials through the payment provider's interface. Jaari uses transaction references and limited billing or payment-method information to reconcile the purchase, issue invoices, handle queries and initiate refunds. Please do not send us card numbers or card security codes by email, WhatsApp or general enquiry form.
If you choose a payment-provider feature that remembers your details, that feature is governed by its own terms and privacy information. It does not authorise automatic monthly charges by Jaari.
7. Information processed outside the UAE
Our cloud and communications providers may process personal information outside the UAE. Overseas processing can include storage, backups, support access, message delivery and payment processing, rather than storage alone.
For the minimum information needed to arrange and deliver your requested service, we rely on the UAE legal provision permitting a transfer necessary to enter into or perform our contract with you, or a contract with a service provider in your interests. This covers necessary booking, payment, service administration and delivery of reports. We limit the data and purposes accordingly; it does not cover unrelated advertising, optional AI use or unrestricted sharing. Where a transfer is not necessary for that purpose, we obtain explicit consent or establish another applicable legal ground before making it.
Our overseas-processing arrangements:
- Fillout: our current plan uses United States hosting for form submissions. Its infrastructure and delivery providers may also process information internationally.
- Airtable: its default hosting infrastructure is in the United States. Customer, property, booking and visit records handled through that infrastructure are therefore processed outside the UAE.
- Google Workspace: business email, documents and reports may be processed in countries where Google and its service providers operate, subject to applicable contractual location commitments.
- WhatsApp: service communications use a global messaging infrastructure. Jaari currently keeps cloud chat backups disabled on its service messaging account. This does not control copies on recipients' devices or their backup choices.
- Stripe: payment and related transaction information may be processed internationally, including in the United States and India, as described in Stripe's privacy notice.
- Netlify: website requests and technical information may be processed through its international infrastructure and service providers. Hosting the public website does not give Netlify access to Jaari's full customer or Property Profile database.
These locations describe provider processing arrangements, not the location of the homes we care for. Jaari operates in the UAE, but its use of cloud services involves overseas processing. Supplier infrastructure, support and subprocessors may involve additional locations; you can contact us for the relevant provider and safeguard information.
We use appropriate provider agreements, restrict access and sharing, and limit retained information. A provider's GDPR commitments or European contractual clauses are supporting safeguards.
You can request information about recipients and the protections used by contacting us. Acceptance of our Terms or acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy is not, by itself, explicit consent to an overseas transfer. Where explicit consent is needed, we request it separately with the relevant information.
8. Photographs, property instructions and security
We use service photos, video and reports to document agreed checks, observations, completed work, issues and necessary follow-up. We aim to avoid capturing people, private documents, unnecessary package-label details or unrelated household information. Tell us about photography or entry restrictions during onboarding or when your preferences change.
We do not publish identifiable customer-home images or use them for advertising without separate, specific permission. Access secrets and internal access instructions do not belong in ordinary customer reports or public links. We limit their use and disclosure to what is needed for authorised access and custody.
We apply proportionate organisational and technical safeguards to the information we handle, including limiting access to authorised people, controlling sharing and using appropriate protection for service systems and devices. If a breach occurs, we assess it, take appropriate protective action and notify affected people and authorities where the law requires.
9. WhatsApp and service communications
WhatsApp is a launch channel for operational contact, including arranging your Home & Access Handover, discussing instructions and communicating about visits. We also use email and telephone as appropriate. You can ask us to use another available channel and we will discuss a workable arrangement.
Using WhatsApp involves WhatsApp/Meta and applicable platform processing. Message delivery, device access and copies retained by recipients can affect how information is handled. Jaari currently keeps cloud chat backups disabled; recipients may have different settings. Encryption does not remove those considerations. Avoid sending access secrets, full payment details or unrelated sensitive information in ordinary messages; contact us to agree an appropriate way to provide access instructions.
Booking confirmations, service reports, issue messages and a requested next-month payment link concern the service. They do not mean you have subscribed to promotional messages. WhatsApp's privacy information is available at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
10. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the stated purpose and applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of information, service relationship, statutory recordkeeping, and any actual dispute or legal hold.
Our ordinary retention periods are:
- Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 90 days after the enquiry is closed.
- Routine visit photographs and video: up to 90 days after the relevant service period ends.
- Visit reports and Property Profiles: for the active service relationship, followed by review after 12 months without a booking. We then remove information no longer needed, retaining only records required for a specific legal or operational purpose.
- Access secrets: removed promptly when authorised access and custody end, normally within seven days. An agreed continuing key-custody arrangement may require a minimal access record for longer.
- Financial and supporting transaction records: for the applicable statutory period, normally at least seven years after the relevant tax period ends. This does not require us to retain all household information for seven years.
We may retain relevant evidence longer for an actual complaint, dispute, investigation or legal hold, with restricted access. We delete or anonymise information once the relevant purpose and any required retention have ended. Routine communications are reviewed after the service or enquiry closes; any approvals or records still needed are kept with the relevant booking. Copies in backups are handled under the applicable backup lifecycle and protected from routine use.
You may ask us about the retention criteria applicable to your information or request deletion. We will explain any information we must retain and the reason.
11. Cookies and analytics
Jaari's website does not use advertising pixels, behavioural analytics or session-replay tools. The website and hosting service process technical requests needed to display pages and support security and reliability.
When you follow a link to a hosted booking, payment or messaging service, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies for its own service, security or preferences. Its notice and available controls apply on that service. We do not describe those separate services as cookie-free.
If we introduce non-essential cookies or tracking on the Jaari website, we will explain their purposes and provide any choices or consent mechanism required before activating them. Browser settings also allow you to manage cookies, although blocking necessary technologies may affect an external booking or payment service.
12. Marketing
Our checkout does not include pre-ticked marketing consent, and we do not infer consent to marketing from a booking, mobile number or Privacy Policy acknowledgement. If we later offer optional marketing, we will explain it separately, establish the required permission and provide a clear way to decline or stop it. Stopping optional marketing does not stop essential communications about an existing service.
13. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable UAE law, you may request:
- Information about your personal data, purposes, recipients, retention criteria and overseas-processing protections.
- Correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure when the relevant legal conditions are met.
- Restriction of processing in applicable circumstances, including disputes about accuracy or unlawful processing.
- An end to processing for direct marketing, and objection to other processing where the law provides that right.
- Your supplied personal data in an organised, machine-readable form where processing is automated and based on consent or contract, and transfer to another controller where technically feasible.
- Withdrawal of consent for consent-based processing, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Human review of automated decisions and the ability to object where applicable.
Our booking form calculates prices and suggests packages from your answers. You can contact us to review an apparent error or discuss eligibility.
Send requests to contact@jaari.ae. We may take proportionate steps to verify identity and authority before releasing or changing information. We will respond without undue delay and within applicable legal time limits, explain any lawful restriction, and avoid requesting more identity information than necessary. Requests for the statutory information described above are free of charge.
You may complain to the competent UAE data-protection authority under the applicable statutory procedure. Consumer-service complaints can also be directed to the appropriate consumer-protection authority.
14. Household members
Our booking service is intended for people with legal capacity to contract and is not directed at children. We do not seek children's information to provide Home Care. Please avoid including children's details or images unless strictly necessary for an agreed, lawful purpose. If such information is collected inadvertently, contact us so that we can assess and remove or otherwise handle it appropriately. Relevant information about other household members is subject to the same purpose limits and safeguards described in this policy.
15. Changes and contact
We update this policy when our practices or applicable requirements change and show the effective date. We provide appropriate notice of material changes and seek new consent where required.
